Getting youngsters into gardening

There’s a bit of a stereotype for a typical gardener. They’re over the age of 60 and they’re doing gardening as a form of physical activity, whilst it’s also a way of staying occupied. This may be true in some cases, however, gardening is loved by people of all ages, and what’s interesting right now is that there’s a trend of young gardeners whose blogs can be found online. It’s important that gardeners of all ages help get young children into gardening, if not as a regular activity, something they can do every once in a while. It’s a brilliant form of education, to watch something grow and develop thanks to your input, and in many ways it’s a life lesson we should all have in our locker. This is why we feel it’s so important parents do their best to get their youngsters into gardening, even when they’re at school.
